It was a privilege to supply St Michael’s Church, Beaconsfield with stacking church chairs, for a number of reasons. Firstly, they are just down the road from the office! Secondly, it is such a beautiful church.

They had a long selection journey through our excellent free sample chair service, and settled on our stacking bench chair – the A1BS. This provides a continuous seat when lined up, but in fact stacks away when required to. St Michaels also bought our lightweight stacking chair the SBW. This weighs around 5 kgs and stacks 25 high. These are their over-flow chairs, and two stacks of 25 require barely 1 sq metre of storage when not in use.

With the wooden chairs being made to order in the UK, Alpha were also able to supply the chairs with a bespoke hassock hook option, which was also instrumental in satisfying the congregation given the sentimentality often attached.

This two – batch solution has given them many advantages, especially mid-week, when small meetings require some chairs to be arranged in informal layouts. It was also crucial to maintaining the traditional interior of the church and obtaining permission from the diocese – something Alpha were able to help with.

Alpha offer a large range of stacking chairs for all sorts of situations, priorities and interiors.
